In a constantly evolving digital advertising landscape, where businesses strive to combine innovation with environmental responsibility, integrating sustainable practices has become a key concern. In this regard, Alliance Digitale aims to provide concrete solutions for more responsible digital advertising.

The Case Library: A Practical Approach to Eco-Practices

In April 2023, Alliance Digitale published the Eco-Gestures Guide for Programmatic Media Buying. Designed for brands and media agencies, this guide offers a comprehensive toolkit for more energy- and resource-efficient online advertising. It presents effective strategies for campaign planning while emphasizing the importance of responsible technological choices. The focus is on simple, actionable steps that can be easily integrated into daily practices without compromising advertising effectiveness.

Today, Alliance Digitale takes things further with the launch of its Case Library. This new publication, developed by the Reduce Working Group of the Sustainability Commission, builds on the initial guide by providing concrete examples of successful eco-gesture implementation. These case studies showcase how advertisers, agencies, technology providers, and media owners have worked together to orchestrate campaigns that balance performance with environmental impact reduction.

A Tool for the Entire Value Chain

This deliverable, the result of a collaborative effort by the Working Group members, highlights the crucial role of all stakeholders in the value chain in transitioning toward more sustainable digital advertising. Through various eco-gestures that can be initiated by advertisers, agencies, media owners, or adtech companies, the Case Library takes a holistic approach, emphasizing the importance of industry-wide collaboration.
